tip kože - Boroplus naravna kozmetika, skin type: 4 characteristics for a better understanding of care

Skin type

Skin type is determined by genetics

Skin type never changes, but can only be controlled with proper care, e.g. for oily skin, you can ensure that your skin stays clean and your pores don’t get clogged by following a proper skin care routine and using the right products. On the other hand, skin conditions can be treated as they are caused by a combination of external factors and improper skin care, e.g. you can rehydrate dehydrated skin or treat acne.

Every skin is different and skin care for each skin type presents a unique set of challenges. Boroplus creams contain a formulation that has been combined by Ayurvedic and international experts and effectively penetrates deep into the layers of the skin, moisturizes and protects skin cells from damage, helps in their renewal and regeneration, and gives the skin an improved and healthy appearance from within.

Normal skin

A healthy glow, no open pores or fine lines (although these can develop with the natural aging process), soft, smooth texture. Normal skin is soft to the touch, uniform and without obvious irregularities. It can sometimes be oily and shiny in the “T zone”, which consists of the forehead, nose and chin, in which case it is called combination skin. There is no excessive sebum production. Microrelief is characteristic of well-moisturized skin and does not secrete too much sweat or sebum.

Dry skin

Visible dryness, tightness, tendency to wrinkle, narrow pores. Dry skin lacks lipids or water or both. Other factors such as UV radiation, pollution or climate conditions may also be important. When dryness is due to a lack of sebum, there are fewer protective lipids and the skin is more reactive to aggressive factors. People with dry skin feel tight after washing.

When skin is exposed to drying factors, it can peel, crack, or become itchy, irritated and inflamed. If your skin is very dry, it can become rough and flaky, especially on the backs of your hands, arms and feet.

Dry skin can be caused or worsened by genetics, aging or changes in hormones, extreme weather such as wind, sun or cold, indoor heating, long hot baths and showers, ingredients in soaps, cosmetics or cleaning products and medications.

Dehydrated dry skin is associated with a significant lack of moisture. The most obvious characteristic is certainly the rough feel and roughness of the skin surface. It may be a matter of constitution, as is often the case with pale, thin, sensitive skin that is prone to eczema, or is sensitive to cold (tendency to crack), or to dryness due to the outside air, which causes tension and itching.

Sensitive skin

Thinner, more sensitive skin texture, prone to reactivity, lighter complexion, redness (hot spots). Sensitive skin type can mean different things to different people. It can be the result of skin conditions such as rosacea, eczema or allergies. Sensitive skin can easily become inflamed and irritated. It is important to choose the right care for this skin type, as many cleansers and moisturizers contain ingredients that can cause adverse reactions.

Oily skin

This skin type is recognized by shiny, open pores and a rougher skin texture with oily residue. Oily skin is characterized by excessive production of sebum on the skin surface by the sebaceous gland, the target organ of androgens. It is most common in adolescents and young adults. The excess sebum gives the skin a shiny appearance, especially on the forehead, sides of the nose and chin. In severe cases, various forms of acne can develop. Oily skin is thick, well-moisturized and covered with a protective oily film. It is less sensitive to external factors, dehydration and stress, and is therefore less prone to wrinkles and signs of aging.
